Cyprian: Born in Carthage around 210 AD into a pagan family. At first he worked as a lawyer. After converting to Christianity he became a priest and later a bishop of Carthage. Under the persecution of Emperor Valerian he was first exiled and later executed in front of his ecclesiastical community due to his Christianity.
